I created an ArcGIS Dashboard from the web map called NOAA Coral Reef Watch (CRW) Virtual Stations feature layer owned by Esri. The web map comprised of the operational layers and base layers. Operational layers such as station feature class (represented as points) denotedthe virtual stations where ocean temperatures were being monitored and the area feature class (represented as polygons) denoted the coral reef areas associated with each station. The web map was then used as an element in ArcGIS Dashboard along with other chart elements such as list, serial charts and indicators.

  1. List: List represents the locations where coral reef populations are monitored and which the heat stress that has accumulated over the past 12 weeks at a given geographic location.

  2. Serial Charts: Serial charts depict the number of coral stations at various alert levels for each geographic region.

  3. Indicators: Indicators report areas where coral reef is at the risk of breaching with Levels 1 and 2.
