Mpape is a peri-urban suburb of Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria. This visualisation present the impact of the presence of power grid infrastructure on Land use pattern as shown in the map. It also visually present the analysis of a quantitative survey conducted with 83 key user. The responses analysed in this visualisation includes; Category of users, Grid connection status, Power generator ownership & Power rationing.


From this visualisation, Commercial Users with demand profile 0.7-5 kWh/day, typically barbers, phone charging stations, tailors, shop owners etc, are more than Productive Users with heavier demand profile ranging from 2.5 - 30 kWh/d, typically welders, agro processors, cold processing / storage. This correlates with the acute power rationing data obtained from the survey
