I recently ran across this quote on Twitter.
Geoplot is to cartopy what seaborn is to matplotlib.
So I decided to investigate geoplot. One of the graphics it supports is Voronoi tesselation. This is where, given a set of points in a plane, for each point you draw the region consisting of all parts of the plane closer to that point than to any other.
This inspired me to drag down the database of Queensland Police Station locations, and see what the Voronoi map looks like.
