1st Frame (top map, 1st from left). Using the Spatial Join tool found the number of tornadoes per state. State boundary file obtained from Census Bureau.
2nd Frame (top map, 2nd from left). Used the Aggregate Points tool to place a 20-mile diameter bin around the tornado points.
3rd Frame (lower map, 1st from left). Using Joins and Relates tool, added ESRI Population per county data to a boundary file of US counties. Using spatial join, added the tornado points to the county boundary layer. Symbolized using the Jenks method.
4th Frame (lower frame, 2nd from left). Creating a table showing states with most tornado fatalities by counting the number of tornados by the state field with the Summarize tool.
