Story

The Greek Aegean Islands are without a doubt the most beautiful and magical beaches I've ever seen. I got to travel there in the summer of 2019 and did an island-hopping trip, visiting Milos, Ios and Paros (try finding them on the map). As you can see, I am missing some more islands from the Aegean that I can't wait to go visit!

Technique

For the mapping technique, this was my first time using Blender 3D with one of my favourites "GIS" tutorials done by somethingaboutmaps. The DEM is from SRTM at 30 meter resolution and the colour map was made using QGIS.
